Daman is here!

Now there are 3 of us! He's only 1 month old in this picture. Now he's almost 3 mos and more fun to watch. It has been a busy summer since he was born in June. I went to school for 6 weeks, which was a lot of fun. I have spent a lot of time outside in playgrounds and parks. I have enjoyed time in the water fountains and pool too. We are going to the beach next week and I know that will be lots of fun!

I have been eating a lot more foods lately, even pieces of apple and carrot. I have a great appetite, that's for sure! I have been frustrated by not having as much attention with this new baby in our house, so I sometimes hit my cheek or bite my hand. That makes my Mommy and Daddy sad.. Luckily, Mommy started kissing me more last week. Now I feel better! I even kissed (licked) her back!

Brothers

I am told another brother is coming soon... Now, don't get me wrong, my brother and I have been getting along much better since he started walking. He is pretty nice most of the time. But, another one! I guess I don't have any say in this decision. Sachin is even moving into my room and now I have to share! It's a good thing that I'm such a mellow guy. Sachi can be very bossy and make me play all his games with him. At least I can escape to school most days. I have a lot of fun there with my teachers and friends. I don't think they will make me take this new brother to school, will they?

Snowed In!!

I haven't had school in more than a week. I haven't been able to play outside much in all this snow. Believe it or not it snowed 3 1/2 feet this week! I'm being a really good sport about being indoors most of the time. I bonded a little with my brother, had some nice cuddle sessions with Mommy and Daddy, and mostly looked out the window at all the white stuff!

Sachin's Annaprashan

Here I am with my Dimma and Sachin. It was his "Rice Ceremony" last weekend and he really enjoyed eating the payesh. We got really dressed up in Indian clothes and hung out with our family. It was a very fun time!

Therapeutic Listening

My Mommy and Daddy bought these big headphones that play some funny music. It's supposed to help me be more focused and "regulated". Not sure if it's working yet, but I look pretty cool. With my new haircut (Sorry Phai's), I practically look like a 4 year old!

Somebody needs a haircut..

Ok, you guys can decide.. Should I get my haircut this weekend or what? Some members of my family like it long, but my hair is starting to look like a mop! You should see what I look like in the morning after sleeping on it. My babysitter said I should get a mohawk!

I have always loved to eat. I think I'm eating yogurt in both pictures actually. I still love it!!
Now my taste for fancier food has evolved. I like salmon and herbed vegetables. I like blueberry muffins (but not chocolate chip muffins). And most of all, I LOVE bananas! Ok, maybe that's not that fancy, but I would eat the peel and all if mommy would let me!

I've got a baby brother!

Wow! Sorry that I haven't been here in a while... It's 2010 and I am in school now, riding the bus and everything! I am a big boy with a new room and in a toddler bed. There's also a new baby sleeping in my old crib. He's my brother : Sachin. He looks a lot like me when I was a baby, but I think I'm cuter personally. He tries to get my attention alot and he really likes to watch what I do. He's alright.. I guess, but he better not touch my toys!

My First Real BooBoo

I fell and hit my head on the side of the ottoman. Mommy and Daddy took me to the ER this weekend and I was pretty upset, but I calmed down once I left. I didn't get stitches this time, just glue and steristrips. I'm not sure how long this will stay on before I take them off. At least I'm laughing about it now... I don't think Daddy is .. he's thinking about how many more boo boos are in my future!! Mommy is hoping for no major scars...

Happy New Year!

Sorry, I'm a little late... It has been a very busy few months for me. I am going to start another type of therapy (called ABA Therapy) at the end of the month to help me with communicating and using my hands. It took some time to get everything set up, but we are all excited about it.

I am learning a few signs too! I am also becoming a little destructive and mischevious. I like to knock things off tables and break keys off keyboards. It's a "toddler" thing...

Here I am in my Teddy Bear costume. It was a nice day to go trick or treating. I got lots of candy, but somehow it wasn't me who ate any of it...Hmmm....

Bethany Beach

It's been a long time since I've shown my face! I've been busy. Here I am at the beach a few weeks ago, buried half way in the sand! I LOVED kicking my feet in the ocean and walking in the sand with some help. I mostly ate the sand I played with...

I started crawling (actually moving somewhere) a week before we went to the beach. I'm getting better every day. Now I just have to start working on my language skills, but I'm too concentrated on moving to think about it. I'm also grabbing things with my hands better.

All in all, it's been an exciting transformation in the last few months. I make my mom and dad very proud.

Visiting California

Here I am with my Vikas Kaka in The Grove, an eatery in Los Angeles. I got to stay with my Neha Phai and Ameesh Phua who took very good care of me and my parents. I hope they come visit me too! We did a lot of fun stuff together. It's too bad I had to leave the sunny weather behind...

I did pretty well on the airplane, believe it or not! Next time I'll be sure to bring my earplugs. Those other babies were soooo loud!!

Sima gets engaged!

Here I am at my Sima's engagement party. I got a new short haircut and got dressed up in some nice Indian clothes. I got to hang out with a lot of great people that are family friends. Everyone wanted to hold me! In this picture my mommy's holding me and my Sima is kissing my cheek! It's hard to be so irresistable...

Walk for Epilepsy

This weekend was quite eventful. I went to DC to participate in the Walk for Epilepsy around the mall. We saw the cherry blossoms, the Kite Festival, and all the monuments! It was so cold outside so I was very bundled and had my blankee at my feet. Since I was in my stroller the whole time, I fell asleep here and there... I met some old and new friends. My entire family was there, which was so nice, even my Ba (Paternal Grandma) with an injured ankle. I met Ben and Lauren, whose parents got to know mine when I was sick. We had fun playing with each other after the walk. Mommy made some cupcakes for everyone at the end. All in all, it was quite an adventure, but I'm glad I was a part of it!!!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Rohan turns one today and had a fun filled day! He met with his feeding therapist in the morning, but afterward went to some of the neighbors' houses with cupcakes! Rohan tasted some payesh (Indian rice pudding) and a cupcake with chocolate frosting today... He wasn't quite sure about either of them. I bet with more tastes, he will definitely be a chocolate lover like his parents!

I've been watching my mommy's yoga dvds lately, and I've learned some new moves. Here I am doing an Updog! I have excellent abs since I do leg lifts all the time. I also do the Tabletop move (on my hands and knees). I do other moves that don't have names yet... I should start my own classes!

Learning how to swim

Mommy and I have been going to the pool with my friend Connor every week this month. I'm kinda like a fish, I don't mind putting my face in the water. Or doing the back stroke... It's all good to me. I'm starting to enjoy splashing more in the bathtub too.

My New Mesho

My Sima (Aunt Simi) is getting married in October so now I have a new Mesho (uncle) to play with. We had a lot fun making noises at each other. He did his donald duck impression for me, which was...interesting.. ha ha! I can tell we're gonna be pals!

My busy schedule

It's really packed! I have all sorts of therapists coming to the house almost everyday, also sometimes Mommy takes me to see other therapists outside the house. I am starting some swim classes soon and trying out music classes! It's hard to keep track of everything...

Here I am standing up almost by myself. I'm getting stronger with so much working out. I'm starting to rock back and forth on my hands and knees. Crawling is hopefully around the corner!
